Building of Scout Hall started

Extracted from a 1984 issue of the Group magazine, "The Link", the building plans for the Scout Hall are to be drawn up and sumbitted for approval. This follows the transfer of the property to the Scout Organisation.

Second Scout to receive "Chief Scout Award" ??

Detail extracted from a past publication indicates that Greg Wilcox may have been the second Scout from Harmelia Gardens Scout Group to receive the "Chief Scout Award". This was in 1986.

First "Group Magazine"

"The Link" was the first ever magazine. The first magazine was published for the Scout Group in 1984. The cover was a burnt orange colour with the following graphics.
